I don't want to post about a game like this, but this is more than just a measly game.
For those that don't know, Guitar Hero is a game with a guitar controller. Check my previous post for more info. It rocks my socks.
Several reasons why. This partly has to do with me playing the guitar already, and at the harder difficulties, it feels real enough for five "frets". Another reason is that the track list is great, and I've only heard less than half of it. That old-style rock and roll just can't be beat. And then there's the fact that the game is just fun.
If you play already, start on the normal difficulty (or, if you're really good, hard) and start hard once you've gotten used to it a little. I speak from experience.
However, the real reason you should get this is that one of the default guitars you can "play" is a Gibson Flying V. You can also unlock a double-necked one. Get it NOW. Or else.

I knew you wouldn't be disappointed.
One realism question, though - is the double-necked one twice as hard to use? Do you need 2 controllers to use it? Or is it just a cooler-looking in-game guitar with no gameplay changes?
Also, does the sound of the guitar change slightly as you unlock new ones? For example, does a Strat sound different from a Telecaster?
Heh, ok, now I'm just being picky.
I didn't expect to be disappointed.
I haven't played it that long yet. No idea. I've only been playing with the V. And I believe there are only Gibsons in the game. Too bad. I wouldn't mind seeing a strat in there as well.
