Our bass player was absent from jazz band today (probably skipping), so I played bass today, as having a bass is more important than guitar. It is so awesome, because bass lines are so fun to play. This one rock song we're doing has this really busy bass part that is somewhat hard, but sounds so cool and would be incredibly fun to play if I knew it perfectly. Unfortunately, that's probably not going to happen because we'd need another guitarist, and I'm the only one in any school jazz band we have. It looks like I'm stuck watching our other bass player struggle with it... sigh...
