Today just simply went well. At least for the first day of the school week (I didn't have school yesterday).
Concert Band, even though it was at 7 am, was great. I played the upright bass today, and I still have the bumps on my fingers from it. I seem to be able to get it to be a lot louder than when I tried it 3 years ago. And, for a twist, I play one song with a bow! It's an interesting concept to learn. The two hardest things about switching from electric to double bass are as follows: it really hurts the fingers, and knowing the location anything higher than the third "fret" on the neck.
Drafting was incredibly easy, and it hit a new high (or low, for that matter). We got an assignment due Friday. I handed it in, 99.99% right, with a half hour to spare. I wish I had my USB drive. I need to find it. It's somewhere here...
English was amazing for one reason: I got 12/12 on a writing assignment. This may not be too amazing for some of you, but considering the teacher I have, it feels really good.
Oh, and in Chem today, I got the long-overdue plaque for this one scholarship I won for doing well in a math contest. It's only $1000 at UVic, but it's better than nothing. The plaque looks cool, and I get a free clicky pen! Yay!
Today just feels great, which is a lot better than how I was feeling only a week ago.
5 days to go.
