Oh yeah, I'm challenging French 12. 12 years of French immersion should be enough practice for that.
It went quite well today. The first part, the reading section, was laughable, as it had some easy multiple choice questions. The written section was okay, the only difficult part was trying to use past tense on a paragraph about everyone needing to look out for the environment. The listening section was way too easy. Unlike the Français Langue 12 exam I write in June, the speaker speaks way slower (as well as twice, but I didn't need it a second time, really). Also, on the Français Langue 12 exam, you don't get the questions already written on the paper for you with the multiple choice answers before you even start, and you have to listen well for them and take notes during the presentation. So, it was easy.
Then there was the oral section. You're given a group and a topic and you have to make a 5 to 8 minute conversation on the topic. I did okay, I guess, and definitely enough so that I'll do well enough. I did well enough on the other sections anyway so it shouldn't matter too much.
Results come in a month. Yay?
