Computer update

Okay, I went down to the computer store today to see what's going on. The CD drive is okay, just knocked out of place (which is easily fixable). The hard drive might be failing, but I'm not really taking any chances, especially after seeing my applications folder vanish, so I got it replaced. The nice thing is the one that was in there is 30 gig, and since they don't have those anymore, I was able to put the size to a 40 gig, and a 60 doesn't cost too much more (receipt for new drive came to $100.67, and only putting in a 40 would have saved only about 10 bucks). So now my internal hard drive is double what it was before. Now it's just a matter of replacing the hard drive and doing all the labour stuff, which may take a bit, depending on what's gonna happen. It's not gonna cost too much more, I hope (50 bucks at the most), so I think my laptop's gonna survive without too much of a pain in my (or my parents') wallet.

Oh, and math 133 midterm was today. Started at 8:30, finished at 9. I had till 9:20. I'm pretty confident about my result. And math 100 got delayed to Wednesday. Dang. I was ready on Monday...

And we have the coolest C SC assignment this week. We have to write a program that's pretty much a slightly less flashy version of John Conway's Game of Life. No, not the board game. Just visit the website to find out more.

Thanks to everyone who's been praying for me. Just a little longer...
