Update time!

This weekend was a combination of being very productive and having a lot of fun. Saturday I got my C SC assignment done (at the cost of staying up till 3:30 am and getting up at 7:30 to go to church), but I also saw Talladega Nights that night in the university theater. It's an awesome movie.

Sunday, as stated, I went to church. We were trying different churches out, and yesterday we went to this one that's pretty far away (you needed two transfers, which is why I needed to get up so early for an 11 am service). I liked this one; the band was good (I really liked their drummer), and the message was really good, too. It's also a smaller church, but it still felt really cool. It was worth the two transfers. Afterwards, we got lunch at Subway (they changed their steak and cheese sub, which was the only thing I ever seem to get there anymore. It still tasted fine, though.) and took it down to one of the trails nearby, had lunch under a bridge, and talked about the service and how lucky we are to have each other. It was great. For the past few weeks, school's meant a lot more than just study hard and get good marks. Ever since I've made friends here, I've been doing things that I've never thought I'd ever try (eg, riding in the back of a pickup truck), and liking it. It feels really good and I'm feeling more and more at home here (but not to the point where I call my dorm room "home" yet).

Speaking of word replacement, I've noticed that no one here says, "I have to go to school." It's always, "I've got class" or "I have to go to class." Weird, eh?

Anyway, I just got physics done today. One more to go (mech), but it's the longest out of the three.

Oh, I found this one really cool site. It's called MacHeist. It's invite only (sometimes signing up for random websites has its benefits), but for five weeks, there will be puzzles that are put on that site. If you figure it out, you get free Mac software and a discount on what's supposed to be an amazing software bundle at the end. It's really cool, but it hasn't quite started yet.

About the "going to class" thing, that's because you live at school. "Going to school" would be kind of redundant.
