Well, the past few days have been fairly uneventful. The biggest thing the probably happened was probably last Sunday, when I went down to the local EB Games and bought some stuff. I bought Wii Play, mainly for the extra remote, but there's some good stuff in the game itself, too. I like the shooting range game (very Duck Hunt-esque, in looks and in feel sometimes. Your targets are things like bull's eyes and balloons and stuff, but randomly, a duck that looks a bit like the NES ducks will appear and if you can shoot those, you get points as well), as well as the laser hockey game (the control scheme is really good. It's like Pong, but better). The tank game is pretty good, but the multiplayer for it could have been so much better. The other ones range from medium to forgettable. I've gotta get my hands on Wario Ware and Super Paper Mario. The latter my brother rented a week before I got back and I've been wanting to play it for a while. Dang.

I also picked up Pokémon Diamond. On release day. Yes, I know, the huge craze was 7 or 8 years ago, but I thought I'd pick this one up anyway. The games themselves seem to stay solid after all these years. Really, the online play is what sold me. A Pokémon MMO would probably be one of the few MMOs I'd actually play. That and one of the starters is a freakin' penguin. Anyway, the game itself is pretty good. One thing that's nice is that you don't need link cables anymore for multiplayer, thanks to the DS's wireless stuff in it, which makes trading and battling a lot easier (my brother picked up Pearl at the same time), and the aforementioned WiFi stuff. Anyway, I'd recommend it if you have a DS already.
