My research led me to an interesting discovery today: turns out the last year of Bandfest was in 2005, as far as I can tell. This leads me to one interesting question: why didn't we go when I went to Mouat? Other than 1994, it was held pretty much every year. I know we did festivals when I was in Grade 9, but I'm really curious as to why we didn't sign up for an apparently big local one. That's something that no amount of museum research can tell me though, sadly. Now to find out why 2005 was the last year...
Anyway, the afternoon was good, but the morning pretty much sucked due to me having to give a powerpoint presentation in the morning, and sooner than I expected to. But I think it went okay. At least the worst is over and the only thing I have to do at work now is write. And go swimming with the daycamp people tomorrow. :D

- I can be a lot of things. I can be a university student that's going to be in his second year of university taking software engineering. I can be a musician that plays guitar and bass, and does some composing or arranging on the side. I can be a math or science nerd that makes plenty of calculus jokes, whether you want me to or not. I can be a hardcore gamer, as well as an Apple and Nintendo fanboy (though not nearly as bad as some people are). I can be a guy that tries to follow Christ with all his might. I can be just an all-around good guy to talk to. But most of all, I can be me, and that's probably the most important thing I can be.

I'm glad to hear that your afternoon was better! 2005, hey? Weird that we didn't go... I wonder why. I don't even remember Mr. Hearty mentioning it... Hmm. I think I'll ask him about that next time I see him. He guess with a job like yours, you really do learn something new every day ;)
I seem to remember going once... I guess it woulda been in grade 8 or 9.
