New song!

After a bit of messing around with GarageBand this past week, I decided it was time I actually did a song with it. I had a bunch of free time today (class ends at 1:30 for me on Fridays), so I finished a song that's been in my head for a while. Guitars are me, drums are from one of the premade loops (with some of my own editing - I didn't realize how easy working with a staff in GarageBand is), and the bass (if you can hear it) is something put together in two seconds in Guitar Pro - you can tell if you looked at the part.

Anyway, here's the link. Comments and constructive criticism are always welcome.

Zelda - Kakariko Mosh Pit

edit: I made some small changes in the part after the key change to make it more interesting at the end. The link is the same. I'm not gonna make you redownload it, but you can if you want.

Current music: Guess. I dare you.

Ha! I gave Joe the link 'cause i thought it was pretty awesome (and I also figured he would recognize it better than I would). I'm always so impressed when you do something like this. You've got a lot of talent and it's fun to see what you do with it :)Rock On!

Just in case you were wondering, here's the original, so you can see what I turned it into.

Haha, great... the most laid back song in the game, turned into Punk Rock. In that way, it reminds me a bit of this.

Oh yeah, and I really like the fill at about 1:01

Needs a guitar solo though... one with lots of meedlies. But hey, considering that this is an actual recording, this isn't bad.

I wanted to do a solo, but that would involve having to think of one. I'd probably have to play it, too, but that's what slowdowns are for. :P

Anyway, I might add to it later. It was somewhat of a GarageBand experiment, though I did take it seriously, and it was in my head for a while waiting to come out. I've got plans for other songs, I just need to find time (when I don't feel guilty) to work on it.
