I swear, random weird things keep happening to me. First Apple screws up my order, which got fixed really quickly. Today I found out what happened to that 383 dollars that vanished. I go to the bank to ask about it and they said it was a cheque that was written some time ago. This looks fishy to me for one big reason: I have never written a cheque in my life. They bring it up on the computer, which has a scan of the cheque, and it turns out it definitely wasn't me that wrote it, with the name and signature being completely wrong. After showing some ID, they said that the money would be back in a few days. Talk about relief. If I hadn't checked my bank account last Saturday, something I hardly do, I would have completely missed it. God really must be watching out for me. :)

Yeah, it has certainly been a bit of an adventure for you recently, hasn't it? Weirdness! I'm glad things are getting sorted out though. I am still don't understand fully where the computer order sits. Did they fix it or are there still 2 coming? I hope the rest of the school year holds a little less misadventurous excitement for you!
Just one computer is coming, I assume, because it says on my order form that the other one was canceled. There's still a duplicate of something else that's on its way, but that's only because they can't cancel an order that's already been shipped. That can be returned, thankfully.
Wow, that's scary. I'm sure glad you got that figured out. I hope they catch the guy who did it.
