New iPods!

They look pretty good, especially that touch screen one (essentially, it's an iPhone, minus the phone, but it's still got internet capabilities, like the ability to access the iTunes music store from the iPod, as well as Safari). I've got two gripes, though. One is that I can't get the education discount on the new models (though that was expected). The other is the large price of the touch and the amount of space that you'll get for it. 8 gigs for 329 bucks? The most you can get is 16? I realize it's new, expensive technology, but still...

That being said, I know what I want for my birthday or Christmas now. I was even considering the iPod classic (80 gigs is a lot of space for movies), if the touch is too expensive.

One thing that intrigues me now is the lack of white products Apple sells now. The original iPod was white. iBooks and MacBooks were only white for the longest time, as was the iMac, and the iPod shuffle. Now it seems the only thing you can get in white is the MacBook (iPods are grey and black now), and there's even a black option for that, as well. Note, I'm not counting accessories.

Anyway, I'm probably gonna get the computer online now, get the free (last gen) nano and try and sell it off, I guess. I'll still save money in the end.

Hey! You know what was so weird today... I was working at lunch time today after my class, and you didn't come in. I know, I know - no brainer, right? But still... it was weird. Noon rolls around and still no Matt. I guess I'm still adjusting to the whole school-steals-everyone thing. I hope you are eating decent food, now that I can no longer ensure the quality of what you consume ;) Good luck with the computer/ipod buying! Ttys :)

Funny, I was just thinking about that as I was leaving class today. Kinda funny what twelve weeks will do to you. :)
