I don't make video game posts that often, so bear with me for the next few paragraphs if it's not your thing.

So, I'm actually hyped for what's coming out pretty soon. A few months ago, there really wasn't much coming out in the near future for systems that I either have (DS) or have the potential of playing at some point (Wii, PS2), but in the next few months that's going to change.

Yeah, Super Smash Bros. Brawl got delayed to Feb 2008. That's not that big a deal for me, as I wasn't going to get the chance to play it in December, anyway. Besides, Melee's still great, so there's no point being so impatient for a game that's taking a while to come out, when there's something that's still really good right now. I just hope that I'll be on a work term at home when it does come out, though. If I were still at school, it would fall right in the middle of my reading break, so that would have been great, but oh well.

Actually, I'm way more excited about the DS, mainly because I actually have one with me. The next Phoenix Wright game comes out this month, something I'm really looking forward to. But the most exciting thing for me is that there's a new Advance Wars game coming out. Just barely announced a few months ago, there has been a truckload of news about it in the past few weeks. The most exciting thing about it for me? It actually has online play, as well as an online map sharing system. They've also completely overhauled the graphic style, and set it in a new universe, and the storyline's a little bit darker than one might expect. That being said, it really doesn't matter that much to me. I mean, it's online. That's all I really need. And it comes out in January, only three months from now. How cool is that?
