laptop--;

So, I'm without a laptop for a few months. Yes, it's my fault, but not in the sense that you think (for those people that remember what happened about a year ago). See, Joel's laptop died recently, he can't afford a new one, and he needs a computer for the online class he's taking, and since I just got a new desktop and don't really use my old three and a half year old laptop (which was mine for two years) much anymore (it's been in a drawer almost all week), I decided to lend mine to him. It doesn't affect me that much, and it sounds like he needs it more than I do. I'll probably get it back around Christmas.

Anyway, the weekend's been good. I felt lazy all weekend, and it's coming back to bite me with an assignment due tomorrow, but it'll be alright. The last week will probably be as bad as it'll get for awhile.

Edited for clarity. Just to reiterate: I still have my nice, shiny, brand new computer. However, the old computer is the one currently not in my possession. I wouldn't give this thing up so soon (especially with Guitar Hero 3 coming out for Mac, and me actually having a computer that can run it)

You lent Joel your new laptop? Wow! After the excitement of getting it I'm surprised you weren't using it.

Oh, I though you got a new desktop. I was assuming you lent him your old laptop... I am super confused!

The laptop is the two year old (which is really three and a half years old) computer I bought in Grade 12. I still have the iMac (the desktop), but I'm not using the laptop much, so I thought I could put it to better use.

Sooo... the desktop is the new one?
