Things are looking up right now. I'm done all the homework that needs to be done this semester, and now it's pretty much just studying for exams now. I'm out on the 19th, and I'll be home not long after that, especially if I can get the van for taking things home.
Oh, and I have a job now, by the looks of it. It's for CanAssist, a UVic-based company that provides software solutions for people with special needs. It's actually a development job, something that I'd personally rather do over testing, so hopefully it'll go well. Now I need to find somewhere to live in January...
And TSO last Friday was great. It was an amazing light show. And I guess the music was good, too. They had one set of lights that did all sorts of crazy movements that looked really cool. It's hard to describe, but it was one of those hanging light things except it took on a lot of different positions. And they had fire, too. The music was also really good, though I kinda wish they had more than three dynamics: p, mf, and ffffffff. Highlights include them playing what I like to call the "house song" with an interesting set of lights (though there was no actual house) and a lot of colored fire, a keyboard duel with their two keyboard players (one was playing classical, one did jazz piano, then all of a sudden one of them starts playing Linus and Lucy and the band joins in after a bit (though they didn't do the whole song), and them doing the Carmina Burana (fixed the spelling error), something that I've never heard the band do. It was really cool.
Almost there...

Nope... it's Carmina Burana.
Oddly enough, a Google Search for Carmina Burmana lists this 5th out of 85...
But yeah, it was great. Other highlights included Carol of the Bells, the Guitar-Violin duel, and the tons of guitar noodling.
Thought I spelt it wrong.
