Oh, yeah, I should mention the research essay I'm doing right now. The one thing I love about university level English is that you can pretty much choose your own topic for big essays. My argumentative essay was about the absolute horror that is digital rights management, but my research essay is going to be a lot more fun. I'm trying to explore a relationship between mathematics and music. Not "music lessons make you better at math", though, I'm actually talking about finding mathematical patterns in music. There's some interesting stuff out there that I've found so far (like the golden mean in Zelda music, and an article in French that I might use if my prof will let me), but my favorite one so far is a study about studies about finding relationships between math and music. I just find that interesting to see.

Current music: none. working away. Though I did learn Christ for the Nations Institute - Your Love is Unconditional on the guitar (figured out the guitar part by ear over the last few days and it sounds pretty accurate). It's all I've really been listening to for the past few days.

Wow... I finally got around to reading that article with sound. Very interesting.

Too bad my prof bans wikipedia...

There's some other cool stuff I found, too. Like people finding formulae for different things using the circle of fifths, and then taking that and finding other stuff an n-tone chromatic scale. Interesting read, but too much math, even for me. :P

And one of my articles plagiarized another, and I don't know which is the original. Fun stuff.
