Well, I'm almost at the end of the work term. There's two weeks left of work to do (9 work days as of this post, for those keeping score), and after my last day on the 25th, I've got the last week of April off. I'll be home in Abby for that time, which should be a good thing, and if anyone wants something to do, just give me a ring when I get back. Sure, there's still a report to do about what I've been working on, but that can't be too bad, can it?
I'm not sure how much about work I can actually talk about (darn those NDAs) but I will say that I've definitely learned a lot over the past three and a half months, especially when it comes to more professional programming and working with large projects. I now know more about C++, which is really useful if I ever start some kind of a coding project (yeah, I keep saying that, one day!) and overall, it's just been a really good experience. I also learn the fun (said with only a pinch of sarcasm) of living out in the wild and having to do things like cook for yourself. It's been a great time so far, and in a few weeks I get to experience what it's like to take classes without living on campus, which I'm hoping would make me more productive in the middle of the day so I have to do less late at night. Should be good fun.
