These past few days have been interesting. I had my first C SC 160 lab last Thursday and actually learned about as much about C and Java in a half hour compared to the 3 or 4 lectures that I've had. Like, I know what String[] args does whenever we put that in our main method.

English looks pretty interesting. It actually feels more like a high school class than anything else, because it's a small class and it encourages participation. It should be an interesting term.

Last night people were partying a bit too hard, and for probably the first time, the noise became so unbearable I had to leave the building. Thankfully, all engineers get a key card that lets us access the engineering buildings after hours, including the lecture rooms with the projectors. It was peaceful there. It's great knowing I actually have an escape when the noise becomes too much for me.
