Y'know, it's amazing what people do in the face of something really unpleasant. That party last night is a really good example of one of them. I wasn't there for a lot of it, but there was so much bravery that night in the face of drunk people. One (and probably both) of my building RAs were probably so stressed out from what's going on. I know one of them actually tried to stand up for one of the drunk people in the building in front of her boss, which takes a huge amount of courage.
Another amazing story that I was around to encounter happened after I got back. This was at about 1 am, and a few rebels were still partying it out a little bit. Well, one of the guys on my floor (not drunk) actually went down to their room and tried to help them out a little bit, trying to find some way to get them to behave and not get evicted. I found that to be really amazing, because I was just down the hall, too afraid to even leave my room, let alone try and convince some drunk people to cooperate.
There are so many people out there with so much bravery even in situations they are uncomfortable with. I wish I could be more like that.
